We are committed to protecting personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025.
1. Who we are. Unlock IQ Institute Pvt. Ltd., registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, is the Data Fiduciary responsible for personal data collected through aryabhattamathsolympiad.com, unlockiqinstitute.com and the Unlock IQ app.
2. The personal data we collect. (a) About the student: name, class/grade, school name and city, exam responses and results. (b) About the parent/guardian: name, relationship to the child, phone number, email address. (c) Payment information (handled by our payment partner; we do not store card details). (d) Limited technical data needed to run the website.
3. Children's data and parental consent. Our assessments are for students under 18. Under the DPDP Act every such student is a "child," and we process a child's personal data only after obtaining verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian. We do not track, behaviourally monitor, profile, or serve targeted advertising to children.
4. Why we collect it. To register students for our olympiads and quizzes; to conduct and score assessments; to issue results, certificates and prizes; to communicate with the parent/guardian and, where relevant, the school; and to meet legal obligations. We do not use it for any other purpose without fresh consent.
5. Who we share it with. With the student's school (for school-route registrations); with service providers acting on our instructions under contract (payment, hosting, app platform); and where required by law. We do not sell personal data.
6. Your rights. You may request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data; withdraw consent at any time (as easily as it was given); nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity; and raise a grievance with us and, if unsatisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Withdrawing consent. Email us at support@unlockiqinstitute.com. On withdrawal we stop processing, unless we are legally required to keep certain data.
To delete your account and all associated data, email support@unlockiqinstitute.com with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm your identity, and will action verified requests.
8. How long we keep it. Only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which it is erased.
