AMO Ranking Criteria

  • Ranking Criteria for Aryabhatta Maths Olympiad (AMO) for class 2 to class 9 will be as follows:

  1. Marks obtained in the Level-II examination.

  2. If two or more students score the same total marks (tie) in the Level-II exam, then the ranks will be determined on the basis of:

    • Marks obtained in Level-I exam.

    • Marks obtained in Section-II of Level-I exam.

  3. In case of a further tie, i.e. in case, two or more students score same marks under the criteria mentioned in point (2) above, these students will be awarded the same rank.

  4. In case of any dispute, decision of the AMO council will be final and binding.

  • Ranking Criteria for Aryabhatta Maths Olympiad (AMO) for class 1 will be as follows:

Since AMO Level-I exam is a stepping stone for class 1 students, we are keeping this examination parent assisted, wherein parents can guide the little champions in understanding the questions based on which the child can mark the answers. As the exam is parent-assisted, all the students of the class 1 will be allowed to appear for the Level-II exam. Hence, ranking criteria for class-1 will be:

  1. Total marks obtained in the Level-II exam.

  2. If two or more students score the same total marks (tie) in the Level-II exam, then they will be awarded the same rank.

  3. In case of any dispute, decision of the AMO council will be final & binding.
